4 No-Heat styles for Summer.

Beat the heat with these 4 Heatless Hairstyles for summer.

 Beachy Waves.

This one is pretty easy and takes less than 2 Minutes. Don't have time? Have a casual day planned ahead? Beachy waves makes your hair look effortlessly beautiful and gives you thee perfect balance between messy and classy. I wouldn't recommend it for a more formal do because it does have a really salty look to it that might be a little out of place when it comes to meetings and business parties.
More of the Boho-Chic kinda girl? This one is PERFECT for you.

Things needed :
A glass of water
A table spoon of salt
An empty spray bottle (The kind they use for body sprays)

All you have to do is mix a table spoon of salt in a glass of water and stir it well. Fill a spray bottle full of this mixture and spray it onto your damp/almost dry hair and use your palms to crunch the ends between your fingers. Repeat this 3-4 times and voila you're done.

The Classy Bun.

Have an important meeting to get to but the frizzy hair and the humidity is starting to wear you out? Don't worry I have the perfect hair-do for you. Whether it's a summer wedding, high tea, maybe even a day at the office/school this one's for you. It might take a little practice but once you get the hang of it, it wont take longer than 5-7 mins approx. It looks sophisticated but with a little twist you can also make it look really casual and girly.

Things you need:
2 hair ties.
A hair donut bun maker (Easily found online or at stores like Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop)
Bobby pins
Hair spray (optional)

First things first, brush your hair till it's completely knot free.
Comb it back into a nice high pony tail if you're going to the sophisticated look. Tie a casual messy pony if you're going for the casual girly one.
Slip the donut bun through your hair and towards the hair tie - securing the pony tail tighter.
Spread your hair around the donut till it is completely covered and secure that with another hair tie.
You will notice now that there is hair hanging out. Don't worry. This is where the bobby pins play a role. Gather your hair and turn it around your hair tie securing it even tighter and pin the ends towards the inside of the bun. Finish it off with a tiny bit of hair spray to keep it in place and it  will end up looking something like this :

It's a little difficult at first but practice does you good.

The Fishtail Braid

It's the cutest summer friendly hairstyle to be honest. It's so casual, effortless and fun. It's perfect for everyday wear. Especially to people who spend a lot of time in the sun. It helps you stay cool, protects your hair from all the dirt and heat and also keeps it secure through the day.

Things you need :
Bobby pins (If you have bangs or layers)
Hair tie

If you know how to do the normal braid this will take you a try or two, to perfect.
Side fishtails look beautiful but so do normal ones. Divide your hair into two keeping in mind the kind of fishtail you want (side or center)
Once that is done, take a little bit of hair approx 1cm or so and cross it over to the other half of your hair adding it to that bunch. And the same for the other side.
You don't have to separate each section that you cross over to the other side. It just joins the rest of the bunch. Start from the outer corners and hold tight. Tie it at the end with a hairtie that matches the colour of your hair. Clip in the extra hair (if any) with bobby pins and the braid is done.

The French Twist

This one is probably the easiest. It's pretty, fast and wearable to most occasions.
You can make it look classy, sophisticated, chic, pretty much anything. It's the easiest to carry off.

Things you need :
Bobby pins/Clips

Divide your parting on whichever side suits you better.
From the tip of your forehead, start twisting your hair towards the back of your head. Secure it with a few bobby pins, or maybe even a cute little clip. That's it. You're done.

Ombre.

Ombre hair is in. It's fresh, it's experimental and you can go WILD with the colors you choose.
Light on top, dark below. Dark on top, light below
Pink blended, blonde blended. The choices are never ending.
All you have to do is figure out what color would suit your skin tone the best.
Ombre hair is basically when you blend two colors into your hair the top usually starting from a darker color to the bottom tips ending with either a bright or light one. It can be done the other way but I personally feel this looks a lot better.
Especially on people who are naturally brunette.
If you really want to try something different for this season I would definitely recommend you run to the nearest stylist and ask him to Ombre your hair. It can be done at home BUT it's always best not to take a chance while playing with hair color. Too much can lead to irreversible damage. We wouldn't that.

The model (Mihika) who volunteered to let me style her hair already had her hair coloured and the styles turned out that much more gorgeous and summery.

It's easily noticeable in the first picture (Beachy Waves)
